Theses are just some of the activities and tours for children I have on offer. I will gladly assist you and your family with a number of suggestions when planning your trip to Berlin.
Nikolaiviertel - The story of Berlin in stories and tales
 
Nikolaiviertel
We will explore Berlin and Cölln on foot. Stories and tales will reveal how people lived and how they suffered in times gone by.
A visit to the St Nicholas Church or Berlin Cathedral will round off our walking tour.

(The narrative and the length of the tour will be adjusted to the children’s age and abilities.)
Meeting point: Near Berlin City Hall (red brick building).
From here, you can easily access the St Nicholas district, go for a boat excursion or visit one of the museums.

Checkpoint Charlie
 
Berlin Wall Checkpoint Charlie allows insight into Berlin’s history, from the post-war period right up to the fall of the Wall. Pictures, maps and stories will help the children understand the various events.
We will also visit the Museum of Communications, which illustrates the history of the postal service and where children can experiment with and experience different forms of communication.
Meeting point: Near subway station (U-Bahnhof) “Stadtmitte”. (You will be on Friedrichstrasse, close to Checkpoint Charlie Museum, Gendarmenmarkt, ....)

Kurfürstendamm – from bridle path to shopping avenue
   
Kurfürstendamm We will entertain a number of visual aids for an in-depth view of the exciting history of the world famous Kurfürstendamm.

This tour will take us from the Jewish community centre in Fasanenstraße to Kaiser-Wilhelm-Memorial-Church on Breitscheidplatz.
Meeting point: Subway station “Uhlandstraße” (You will then be right on Kurfürstendamm ready for your leisurely stroll…)

A lot happened at the Brandenburg Gate
 
Brandenburg Gate We will focus on the area around the Brandenburg Gate. Using a multitude of pictures and maps, the rich history of this area will come alive.

Considering the interest of the children and time permitting, we will walk across to the Holocaust memorial.

This tour is suitable for children aged 8 and above.
Meeting point: Pariser Platz (From here there are many ways to make use of your free time.)
